Even in the absence of the usual hotel-industry-standard benefits (...alas..COVID-19 precautions..) the staff at the Discovery Inn were nice and helpful, the rooms very clean and neat and somewhat modern, but updated enough for any pro road warrior even, and the grounds around and the office complex interior were immaculately maintained and neat. Also, a wide array of snacks and drinks and needed personal items also can be easily purchased in the office at decent prices (no price gouging here). Definitely would recommend this establishment for overnight guests looking for rooms with price range of $60 to $90 a night.

Third time staying at Discovery Inn. Great place, a/c is nice an cold, bathrooms are always clean, and the best part are the beds! I haven't had a room with an uncomfortable bed here yet.. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Timothy is our favorite.

Great no frills place to stay at a reasonable price. It's older but clean. Our stay couldn't have been better. We evacuated from hurricane Laura to stay here. They above and beyond taking care of issues. The ac wasn't working so they actually put a new unit in less than 30 minutes. Very kind! Will stay again if need be. 

Very personable staff. Room clean and nicely maintained. Susan and Timothy very helpful. Chris' po boy almost walking distance. Will stay again. 

On extended road trip and all I’m really looking for is a clean , quiet place with a comfortable bed and a reasonable price. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfy. I appreciate that they use mostly paper products instead of styrofoam! Thank you! 

Great pricing and service. The room was comfortable and quiet - all you need. 

Check in went very smoothly. Manager is very accommodating. Pool is a nice size. I’ve stayed here many times before and I was young so I didn’t appreciate how hard they worked to keep it as nice as it is. I love staying here. Feels like home. Will definitely come back!

“The hotel was very nice to drive into with many hotels around them. Was greeted with respect and niceness. Room location was easy access with working refrigerator and microwave. Beds were comfortable and very relaxing…it was the best place without spending an arm and a leg for. Will be back many times and cannot wait. Thank You!!!!!”

We had to come here because our home town was Really messed up by hurricane Laura. The owner did everything he could to make sure we had the 6 rooms we need for our whole family. We’re so very thankful and so lucky to get what we needed
